ETS NORD's CEO Urmas Hiie among finalists for "Industrial Leader of the Year 2024"

This year, the “Industry Leader of the Year 2024” competition in Estonia is particularly special for us, as ETS NORD’s owner and CEO, Urmas Hiie, is among the top three finalists. This recognition reflects his dedication to excellence in technology, sustainability, and company growth over the past years.

Technology and innovation: ETS NORD has always strived for excellence in our industry. Our focus on advanced technology and innovative digital solutions was key to winning the Factory of the Year award in 2023, highlighting our cutting-edge manufacturing processes and in-house product development.

We are among the few companies in Estonia that have calculated their carbon footprint and completed Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for most of our products. Soler & Palau, a ventilation company with a global presence, has invested in our company and acquired a minority stake. Urmas Hiie is joined by two other exceptional finalists: Alvar Sass, CEO of Harju Elekter Estonia, and Katre Kõvask, CEO of Yook Production. The winner of the “Industry Leader of the Year 2024” award will be announced at the “Industry Business Plan 2025” conference on November 19.
