Goals and reporting

We adhere to the global SDG targets (Sustainable Development Goals) to mitigate environmental impacts and implement the green transition.

We are actively developing increasingly environmentally friendly indoor climate solutions. In our development work, we carefully consider the sustainability principles in material selection, packaging, and reuse to reduce the carbon footprint of our products and production processes.

Management system and everyday practices

ETS NORD’s management system is based on quality, environmental, occupational health, and safety requirements, as well as the principles of sustainability.

We are committed to improving our management systems. In addition to strict compliance with legal reporting and regulatory requirements, we strive proactively to minimize our environmental impacts, enhance customer satisfaction, and promote a culture of continuous improvement at all levels of the organization.

Sustainability

It is very important for us to consider sustainability principles in product development, including in the use of materials, packaging, and recycling, in order to reduce the carbon footprint of the product and the manufacturing process.

Environmental Product Declarations

An EPD is a standardized document verified by a third party that includes the environmental impacts of a product throughout its life cycle.

To promote transparency in our supply chains and guide our product development towards increasingly responsible choices, we have calculated approximately 75% of our own production’s CO2 footprint and prepared environmental product declarations for the following products:

• NORDcanopy professional kitchen canopies
• Ozone unit
• NORDsilencer silencers

ETS NORD’s quality and environmental policy complies with the principles of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates.

The food safety of ETS NORD’s canopies has been verified with a HACCP International certificate.

The certificate is issued by HACCP International.
